Crisis Intervention Counselling
Immediate, compassionate support when you need it most — stabilization, safety, and a path forward.
About This Service
When life feels unmanageable, crisis intervention provides the immediate support you need to regain stability. Our trained crisis counsellors are here to help you navigate acute emotional distress with compassion and urgency.
Crisis intervention is not about long-term therapy — it’s about meeting you in the moment, ensuring your safety, and connecting you with the resources and support systems you need to move forward.
Whether you’re facing a sudden loss, a mental health emergency, or an overwhelming life event, our team provides structured, evidence-based intervention designed to reduce distress and restore your sense of control.
A dedicated Counselling Psychologist committed to supporting individuals in achieving emotional well-being, mental clarity, and personal growth. My approach is client-centered, empathetic, and evidence-based, focusing on creating a safe and confidential space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds and was trained by renowned clinical psychologist Justine Hardy of London. I am committed to establishing a safe and egalitarian environment in which clients feel heard and supported. Culture and context are important to me in therapy, and I believe that when people are empowered, they may heal and flourish.
I have been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, existential psychotherapy, and trauma-informed treatment. In addition, I am a Reiki Level 2 practitioner. My expertise involves assisting people with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and existential crisis.

Frequently Asked Questions
What qualifies as a crisis?
A crisis is any situation that feels overwhelming and exceeds your current ability to cope. This can include sudden loss, trauma, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, or any acute emotional distress. You don’t need to justify your need for support.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We prioritize crisis appointments and aim to see you within 24–48 hours. For immediate life-threatening emergencies, please call 911 or your local crisis hotline.
How many sessions does crisis intervention typically involve?
Crisis intervention is typically 1–6 sessions, focused on immediate stabilization and safety planning. If longer-term support is needed, we’ll connect you with appropriate ongoing services.
Can family members be involved in crisis sessions?
Yes, with your consent. Involving trusted family members or support persons can be very beneficial during crisis intervention, especially for safety planning.
